Hancheng People’s Hospital, founded in 1950, is a Class II and Class A comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention and health care. In 2011, a new hospital was planned to be built according to the plan of 1000 beds in the tertiary general hospital, and was completed and put into use in November 2016. The new hospital is located at the intersection of Huanghe Street and Ziyun Road in the north of the new city, covering an area of 276.8 mu, with a building area of 100000 square meters and an investment of 680 million yuan.
