The Third People’s Hospital of Liupanshui, formerly known as Liupanshui Infectious Disease Hospital, was founded in 2005 and covers an area of 28 mu, belonging to Liupanshui Medical Group. In September 2009, after the dissolution of the municipal medical group, it began to operate independently. At that time, there were only 27 employees in the hospital, who were really responsible for the medical treatment of infectious diseases in Liupanshui. With the development and demand of medical and health reform, the brand of Liupanshui Psychiatric Hospital was added in 2010, and the Third People’s Hospital of Liupanshui was officially established in 2011, with more than 110 employees and 120 beds.
